I'll be honest I don't have a better system in mind, but I feel that judges and prosecutors should not be elected politicians. They become more focused on getting re-elected than actually dishing out fair justice. How many cases like this have we heard of? At least there should be strict national sentencing guidelines to take some of the power away from the states. Why is a crime in one state more or less punished in another? The answer is not because it was fair punishment, it is because the Judge is trying to appease his base.Also the appeals process should be done with a neutral third party. I get convicted by a corrupt prosecutor or judge, than I get his buddy here my case from the same district.Our justice system really needs to be revamped, more than any other part of our government.!

Sure the Austrian plan does have a clear action plan, go to an honest 100% gold standard (or whatever commodity people freely choose to use) and we can stop suffering from these boom and busts to start out with. |

GLAAD you've done a lot of good work for us in the past, but seriously, learn how to pick your fights. You admit that it was a "well-intentioned effort...to delegitimize a vulgar anti-gay slur" so why are you calling for a protest?

A good thought, but the only problem is, a lot of people don't think the garbage on TV is WORTH paying for. It is nice to have, but not so nice that they want to buy it. Without free sources of TV shows (Hulu, Youtube, Whatever) I just wouldn't watch them, and I would be OK with that.
