Without getting too technical-AMD Phenom II 965 x4 140w 3.4GHz - $195Intel Core i7 950 Bloomfield x4 130w 3.02 GHz- $570No one is going to argue that a Phenom II is superior to a Core i7- But if you're on any kind of budget, you may wind up with a better overall system if you start with an AMD cpu.

Lol, they think a sport-bike that hits 130mph is fast. If that is the top speed it sucks (that maybe great for a 0 emissions bike) but that is horrible in sport-bike terms. My gsx-r will hit at 165mph radar tracked, not speedometer tracked..

Yup, exactly, thanks for putting it into words so I didn't have to. Girls are used to people buying drinks for them, you doing so doesn't help you out at all, at least not any more than saying 'hi' would. I also know plenty of girls that go to bars just to get guys to buy drinks for them, and it works, that's a lot of the reason I don't do it.I've bought drinks for girls twice in my life, one time was just normal, the other time she was just completely taking advantage of it, she was also trying to get me drunk though...but that's a long story. She's also part of the reason I don't.?
Seconded AVG being *****. I was dismayed when after a seemingly innocuous and typical update, it constantly did something in the background, halting my system every few minutes by spiking my CPU for no reason. After meticulously going through setting after setting, going in really deep into the program, I gave up and decided to try something else.I now use Avast, and it was quite a surprise to see a recent benchmark showing it was one of the best AVs available with one of the highest detection rates and one of the lowest false positives of most other AVs (especially including AVG). I don't miss AVG at all. |
