Having a child is selfless: - A great deal of personal sacrifice goes into raising a child. I am only now beginning to understand how much my parents gave up to raise my brother and me. It's unlike anything else in the universe. In turn, my kids have no idea how much I've given up to raise them, and that I would die for them without hesitation if the situation called for it.
