#1, CNet is *****. These flunkies have never been known for their insightful, technical reporting. They are well known to give favorable reviews of ***** products (hello, Microsoft?) from big advertising clients.Having said that, the article you referenced is actually an indictment of AT&T's ***** service - not the iPhone itself. I live in South Florida, and the call quality and dependability here are adequate if not fantastic. The iPhone's features and quality vastly outweigh the occasional service inconvenience. Now for people in San Francisco or NYC, the network issue is more significant. If I lived in either of those cities I might find it more difficult to tolerate AT&T.CORRECTION: The article is from CNet.UK so the service issue is with O2, apparently AT&T's twin in the UK. Same difference, though - it's a network capacity problem, which is not the phone's fault.

I always liked how Will Smith wrote a whole song about how great Miami is, and still couldn't think of a single thing nice to say about anything west of the Intracoastal.?
The 76ers teams with Iverson were great. All he needs is a coach who understands that he needs the ball in his hands all the time, and a group of role-players who can set their ego aside for him. Until the Grizzlies are willing to do that, they are wasting a great talent. |
