OK. Just thought I'd share this. In 1992, my wife and I were staying at Kirkham Hot Springs campground in Idaho. Only one other couple was camping there that night. Sometime after midnight, an intense bright white light woke us up. It was shining through the rear window of our van (where we were sleeping). We both looked up at the light, which appeared to be about 100 yards away near the campground entrance and about 10 feet off the ground. It was large, about the size of a searchlight, and a blinding, pearlescent white. My wife said, "Look how bright the moon is." I heard myself agree, even though I could see that the light was attached to the bottom of some sort of large structure and was far brighter than any moon. Five men, silhouetted, walked out of the light directly toward us. Their silhouettes all seemed very similar in stature. Their heads seemed extremely large which made me think they must be wearing hats. When they were about thirty feet away, my wife asked who they were. I heard myself respond, "Don't worry. They're just Park Rangers. See their uniforms? Go to sleep." My mouth spoke the words, but I didn't feel like I was saying them. For some strange reason, I was not the least bit afraid, and neither was my wife, even though five strangers were approaching my van in the middle of the night in the middle of Nowhere, Idaho. They walked directly to the rear window of our van and looked in. I thought it odd that they were all wearing large, dark sunglasses. I suddenly felt very sleepy, and laid my head down. The next thing I knew, it was morning. I woke up, and without saying a word, crawled into the driver's seat, started the van and began to drive. My wife quietly joined me. As we left the campground, we passed the other couple. The man hopped out of his camper truck and ran out into the road waving his arms for us to stop. His wife or girlfriend ran after him, shaking her head and saying, "No! No!" She drug him back to their truck. My wife and I both watched this peculiar event, but still said nothing to each other. It was as if we were pre-programmed to leave the campground as quickly as possible. In fact, we drove for about 15 miles before my wife said, "Wow. The moon sure was bright last night." As soon as she said that, I realized that I had seen a crescent moon set earlier the night before. Then whole encounter came crashing back to both of us as if we finally woke up. We were driving but didn't even know where we going. We turned around right away and went back to the campground to see if the other couple was still there. When we got there, they were gone. We parked the van exactly where it had been the night before and got into the back. When we looked out the rear window, a mountain peak blocked the sky- so the light we saw was not the moon. And when we took note of where the men's heads were in our rear window, we realized they were all about 4 and 1/2 feet tall. Not sure what happened, or what it all means, but I still get goosebumps when I think about it.?
The judge was bored and horny.

The only solution, and I mean **only** solution that **will work** is to go back to the 19th century law enforcement system where...1) The police were not immune for anything they did.2) Their arrest authority was tied directly to statutes and maintaining the peace only.3) False arrest was kidnapping.4) Victims of false arrest could violently resist arrest, even to the point of shooting the officer dead and any officer who came to his defense in a violent manner (aside merely trying to pull you off of him as opposed to trying to help him "arrest" you).5) Anyone with knowledge of the law could make an arrest and bring a criminal to the courts. Imagine your lawyer being able to hire a bounty hunter team to bring an abusive, violent cop into the court, "fully arrested," without having to get a "by your leave, master" from the government. (The check-and-balance here was that private citizens who didn't know the law, but enforced it, were 100% accountable for all deprivation of liberty and property they caused, criminally and civilly, without excuse for their ignorance).The courts have showed time and against that they will not work for the citizen here. It's up to the people to demand that the law change in their favor so that the courts literally cannot protect these punks.Until we have that, and stand-your-ground laws, the citizenry will always be second class to the criminals and police on the streets.
