As an iphone user, I'm actually glad that products like the Droid are coming out and giving Apple some good competition. My contract expired last year, and I was originally planning on getting the new version of the iphone in the summer. However, the 3gs offered little over the 3g, so I decided to hold back and I still have the original iphone to this day. Although I think that Android will definitely gain significant market share in the mobile market, its true impact will be seen in the broader market. Ebook readers are catching on, and Barnes and Noble's nook and Spring's alex are perfect examples of how Android will have a revolution that is more broad than deep.

“Bayh won't filibuster if he want to get reelected. Lieberman is a ***** who knows that his political career is over so electoral rationality does not work on him. He's trying to suck up to the insurance company as much as he can so get a cushy job once his term is over. The senate version is different, something will pass from the Senate even if we have to add a opt-out compromise and remove the anti-trust provision. Then it is going to conference where it will be merged with the house bill. So even if the senate bill is ***** we can make it better in conference. As long as we manage to get Lieberman not to filibuster we should be able to move forward.

Yes, my highly intelligent thing to say is 'Are you a Nobel Laureate'? Do you do anything close to matching a Physics Professor at UC Berkeley? If not, I suspect you have nowhere close to the brain power to really think this through as deeply as Chu (for whom, this area is his life-long work). I give him a fair amount of leeway in terms of sorting this out.If you do match all these qualifications, then kudos. Let me read your comments again..

Why does every article have bashing of Obama or democrats or liberals? The economy has been heading this way for a while, most people were just to ignorant to see it (or to busy pushing blame). The fact is our government (both party's) over the past 20+ years have setup a system (lead by large corporations) to sell out the US industrial system to China. We give no incentive to company's to keep factory's in the US and we do nothing to fix the imbalance. This all goes on while China keeps its currency undervalued in order to keep the the deficit growing. While you all debate pointless crap about Obama and try to place blame for everything that occurs on him realize this is still continuing and instead of talking about issues you are looking for a scape goat.?
The only way they could push this into action is by keeping it a secret. What a bunch of dicks. |

A fetus is not a human being.Oh, and just to mention. Much of the bill includes much-needed funding into new technologies and preventive care. This will help lower costs and bring in new cures for diseases. Even without the public option and mandatory coverage, it's a decent bill.
