Indeed, one must be "stuck up" to point out anything to one who has decided that nothing but their own preconceived notions are relevant.Too bad you have not the capacity to appreciate what is important in earth science. Your loss.Science is not about your conception of what is expensive.
There were lots of Indians, way more than what people generally think, because most of the stuff we learned in school were from people who visited the continent AFTER all the natives had been wiped out.The Indians all had similar immune systems and as a result were all vulnerable to the same diseases and got ravaged by a multitude of pathogens from Europe all at roughly the same time. Their immune systems were possibly less developed because they were mostly lactose intolerant and thus didn't have a need to domesticate animals for their milk so didn't live amongst animals passing diseases back and forth and building up immunities.

“Digg me down for what I am about to say. I may even deserve it, since no one likes a whiner. What happened to you Digg? You used to be cool. Now every time I come into an article about politics or the economy, it's a constant drone of RABBLE RABBLE WALL STREET HAS MY MONEY GIVE ME MY JOB BACK. Why can't we have a discussion of economic policy which isn't full of vitriol and gut reactions. Of course it seems inherently suspicious to spend your way out of a recession. We all have the same gut reaction. Why can't we talk about things like the precedent for doing what Obama (and Bush) did? Or how there were a lot of economists around the time they were implementing the stimulus saying that it may not be enough? Valid counter points may be that we have reached a point where we Need to suffer through a recession and any delaying will simply make it worse. Can we raise the bar digg? Just a little?

It's always awesome to see evolution in action, isn't it?!

The Dragon Age wrapping is pretty ***** up. I'm normally annoyed by ads like this and largely ignore them. But the way this is ***** is implemented actually ***** up the layout. It's more than intrusive, it's disruptive to the Digg layout itself.?

Speaking of Sturgis, there is a tiny town in Mississippi with the same name that has a motorcycle rally every year. It's funny, for a couple years I knew about it and didn't realize it was a rendition of SD's.
