No one is arguing that she shouldn't have freedom of speech. Some people are just angry about what she chose to say. I think both the question and the answer were sort of offensive, the question because Hilton apparently was only going to accept one answer, and the actual answer because it was homophobic. To put it into perspective, it's like Hilton asked her "Do you think black people should be allowed to marry white people?" That's a stupid question in that it only warrants a "Yes" answer, and the implication that only one answer is acceptable is sort of offensive in that it's like the judge is witch hunting, but even more offensive is answering "No." Wouldn't you be angry if she said she is against miscegenation?
